Qualification / Experience
Criteria for Appointment on Regular (BPS) • Ph.D. from HEC recognized institution in the relevant field. • 15-years teaching / research experience in HEC recognized university or a post-graduate institution or professional experi-ence in the relevant field in a national or international organization. OR 10 years Post Ph.D. teaching / research in an HEC recognized university or post graduate institution or professional experi-ence in the relevant field in a national or international organization will be required. • 15 research publications with at least 5 publications in last 5 years in NEC recog-nized journals. Criteria for Appointment on Tenure Track System (TTS) • PhD from HEC recognized institution in the relevant field. • 11-years post PhD or minimum of 7-years of post-PhD experience along with at least 12 years of experience prior to the PhD. Teaching / research experience in recog-nized university or a post-graduate institu-tion or professional experience in the rele-vant field in a national or international organization. • 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the past 5 years) in journals recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the HEC.

02 Criteria for Appointment of Lecturer (BS-18) 01 Master's degree (foreign) or M. Phil. (Pakistan) or equivalent degrees awarded after 18 years of education as determined by 01 the HEC in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University / Institution.
Research Assistant BPS-16 on Regular / Contract Zoology 02 M.Sc (Foreign) / M.Phil Zoology, preference will be given to the candidates having teach-ing / research experience in Postgraduate College University, and with demonstrated experience in Zoological Museum & procure-ment.
Note • i. The foreign qualified candidates should attach equivalence certificate from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. ii. In case, degree has not been issued a Certificate / Notification to that effect signed by the Controller of Examination of degree awarding uni-versity might be accepted. In all cases statement of experience must be supported by certificates from the employers. iii. 3% quota will be reserved for disable persons if the candidate is disable he / she will have to submit a certificate from the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons of Social Welfare Department. iv. 5% minorities quota will be observed. Applicants for the posts of Animal Sciences must be registered with PVMC as RVMP / RAHG and for the posts of Agri. Engineering & Technology must be registered with PEC, and valid certificate/s in this regards be attached with the applications. How to apply: i. Candidates for the posts are required to submit four (04) sets for the posts of Professors and Associate Professors, three (03) sets for the posts of Assistant Professor and Lecturer on the prescribed Form along with attested copies of degrees, result cards, transcripts and certificates with Research Work / Publications. In all cases, statement of experience must be supported by certificates. One photograph for each set and a Banker's Cheque / Demand Draft, amounting to Rs. 5,000/- for the post of Professor and Associate Professor, Rs. 3,000/- for the posts of Assistant Professor and Lecturer, issued in favor of the Treasurer, Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan. ii. Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel, by due date and submit service certificates issued by their present and for-mer employers; otherwise their applications will not be entertained. iii. Candidate applying for various post's should apply separately and clear-ly mention the Post & Department. Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate appli-cation form (s) along with separate application fee. ii. The University reserves the rights: i. Not to fill / withdraw any advertised post / withhold the appointment against any post, without assigning any reason thereof or consider a person for appointment in a lower cadre against the post advertised. ii. To short list the candidates on the basis of academic qualifications and experience. Only short listed candidates will be called for test / interview. iii. To increase or decrease the number of vacancies as per availability of funds. iv. Nature of posts can be changed according to the need of the university. v. The University is not responsible if call letters are not received due to any lapse of Courier Agency / Post Office / Telephonic Message & call. iii.
