In Google play store error 505 is common in older Android verisons such as KitKat 4.4 but it also found in Some new verisons of android.

Yes there are many methods to solve this problem i will tell you some most easy methods step by step.

Mainly this problem is cause by some apps which are already been installed in your phone. So try to uninstall these apps to solve this problem. This is main cause of this problem.

Is there any other way to Install apps without uninstalling other apps?

Yes many time old verisons of apps cause this problem in your phone try to update the old verisons. Update all your apps you will see that your problem will fixed automatically.

If this problem is not solve then the last and best way to solve this app is then try to remove my apps cache, of google play store.
After problem has been solved you can install your removed apps again.

Another Solution: After you update your Android device to Android 5.0 Lollipop from an older version using Over-the-air update or sideloading factory image, do a factory reset. It is just like previous ways but i wants to tell you this way in detail. It has been found out that if you do a factory reset immediately after updating your Android version, the error does not occur, but if you don’t the error persists.

Don’t forget to clear the cache too,

How to clear cache?

It's too easy just follow the below method.

going to Menu > Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > Clear Cache. Clear the data too, from the very same option.

If the error still persists after having the factory reset after update, or in case you haven’t reset your device and using it suffering the updates, you can try a next method. If you are using the Adove Air 15 version, and it is showing the error, try using Adobe Air 14 and create the APK with captive runtime. This will most probably help you solve your problem.

If you are familiar with the Android Debug Bridge, use it to uninstall the apps (if they are just hidden and not uninstalled), and afterwards try to install the app again from the Play Store. [Useful for you :How to Install Android Debug Bridge (ADB).]

Though this is the solution for the short term, let’s hope the developers of the apps will figure out the incompatibility issues of the apps soon, and repair it.

Hope you like my tips. If yes then please don't forget to share it.
